Smoked Salmon and Wasabi Sushi Quiche
This Smoked Salmon and Wasabi Sushi Quiche is a perfect balance of savory and spicy. The smoky salmon pairs perfectly with the creamy wasabi, and the quiche crust adds a perfect crunchy texture. It’s easy to make and sure to be a hit at any gathering.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of ready-made pie crust
- 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
- 1/2 cup of onion, diced
- 1/2 cup of smoked salmon, diced
- 1/3 cup of wasabi mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of fresh dill, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie pan with butter.
- Roll out the pie crust and place it in the prepared pan.
- Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and add the onion. Sauté until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced salmon and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the wasabi mayonnaise, dill, eggs, cream, and salt and pepper. Stir in the onion and salmon mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until the quiche is golden brown and set in the center.
- Let cool before serving.
