This delicious quiche is made with a buttery crust and is filled with a flavorful mixture of mushrooms and thyme. Ingredients:

  • 1 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup wild mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, onion, and mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in the thyme and season with salt and pepper to taste.
