Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegan butter
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp ground flaxseed
Toffee Sauce:
– 1/4 cup coconut sugar
– 2 tbsp vegan butter
– 2 tbsp almond milk
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease an 8-inch cake pan.

In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the vegan butter and coconut sugar until light and fluffy.

In a small bowl, mix together the almond milk, vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar, and ground flaxseed.
