Rich Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Stir in the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- In a small saucepan, heat the cream until just simmering. Remove from heat and stir in the dark and white chocolate chips until melted and smooth. Let cool for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Spread over the cooled cake.
- Drizzle the cooled chocolate mixture over the cream cheese layer and let set before serving. Enjoy!
