Cheesy Bacon and Green Onion Scones Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped bacon
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease a baking sheet and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the butter to the bowl and use a pastry blender or your hands to cut it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

  7. Transfer the wedges to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let the scones cool for 5 minutes before serving.
