Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together on high speed for 5-7 minutes, until light and fluffy.
