This decadent Walnut-Crusted Cranberry Orange Cheesecake is the perfect treat for any occasion. Ingredients:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/4 cup fresh cranberries, chopped

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease an 8-inch springform pan with butter or cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, walnuts, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared springform pan.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the heavy cream, vanilla extract, and orange zest.
  4. Fold in the chopped cranberries and pour the filling into the prepared crust. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the center of the cheesecake is set.
