Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups organic sugar
  • 1 cup vegan buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup fresh cherries, pitted and chopped
  • 1/2 cup vegan semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the melted vegan butter, sugar, vegan buttermilk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
