Triple Chocolate Cheesecake for Chocolate Lovers

This decadent Triple Chocolate Cheesecake is guaranteed to be a hit with all chocolate lovers. The combination of a chocolate cookie crust, creamy chocolate cheesecake filling, and rich chocolate ganache topping will make this a dessert to remember!

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of chocolate cookie crumbs (approximately 2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan with butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the cocoa powder and mix until combined. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add the vanilla and mix until just combined. Pour the mixture into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until cheesecake is set. Cool on wire rack for 1 hour. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until melted and smooth. Spread the ganache over the cooled cheesecake and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
