Tomato and Mozzarella Puff Pastry Pizza Recipe
This Tomato and Mozzarella Puff Pastry Pizza is a delicious, easy-to-make appetizer! Start by preparing the puff pastry and topping it with your favorite tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and herbs. Bake until golden brown and enjoy!
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 3-4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface, and then transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.
- Arrange the tomato slices on top of the puff pastry, leaving a small edge around the edges. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, oregano, and basil.
- Brush the edges of the puff pastry with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
