Ingredients:

- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice

- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 teaspoon tequila
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add the vanilla extract, tequila, and lime juice and mix until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients in three parts, alternating with the buttermilk, and mixing until just combined.
