This Strawberry-Banana Banoffee Pie is an incredibly delicious dessert that is sure to be a hit at your next gathering. Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons melted butter, and white sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Bake in preheated oven for 8 minutes.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter over medium heat. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Spread the sliced bananas over the bottom of the cooled crust. Pour the caramel sauce over the bananas. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. In a large bowl, whip cream until it begins to thicken. Add confectioners’ sugar, and continue beating until soft peaks form. Spread over the caramel layer.
  6. Arrange sliced strawberries over the top of the whipped cream. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
