Spiced Potato & Mustard Seed Masala Dosa Quiche
This delicious Spiced Potato & Mustard Seed Masala Dosa Quiche is a savory twist on traditional quiche. The recipe is prepared with a light and flaky pastry crust, filled with a creamy mixture of potatoes, mustard seeds, and masala spices. Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 2 medium-sized potatoes, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of fennel powder
- 1/2 cup of frozen peas
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a 9-inch pie plate with the thawed puff pastry and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mustard seeds and garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the garam masala, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, and fennel powder and cook for an additional minute. Add the frozen peas and cook for a few minutes until the potatoes are tender.
