Sourdough Yorkshire Pudding
This Sourdough Yorkshire Pudding is a delicious, savoury twist on the traditional British classic. Made with a light sourdough batter, this pudding is fluffy and flavourful and can be served as a side dish or as a main. Serve it with gravy or your favourite condiments for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sourdough starter, milk and eggs until well combined.
- Stir in the melted butter and salt.
- Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter, then pour the batter into each cup until it is about 2/3 full.
- Bake in a preheated 425°F oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
- Serve warm with gravy or your favourite condiments.
