Smoked Salmon and Wasabi Sushi Quiche

This Smoked Salmon and Wasabi Sushi Quiche is a perfect balance of savory and spicy. The smoky salmon pairs perfectly with the creamy wasabi, and the quiche crust adds a perfect crunchy texture. It’s easy to make and sure to be a hit at any gathering.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of ready-made pie crust
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup of smoked salmon, diced
  • 1/3 cup of wasabi mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch pie pan with butter.
  2. Roll out the pie crust and place it in the prepared pan.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat and add the onion. Sauté until the onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the diced salmon and sauté for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. In a medium bowl, mix together the wasabi mayonnaise, dill, eggs, cream, and salt and pepper. Stir in the onion and salmon mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the quiche is golden brown and set in the center.
  8. Let cool before serving.
