Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups mini pretzels, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup caramel bits
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, or in a large bowl with a hand mixer, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in pretzels, caramel bits and sea salt until combined.
  7. Using a cookie scoop (or tablespoon), scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until edges are golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
