Rosewater Pistachio Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rosewater extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pistachios

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the rosewater extract and egg, and mix until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add the chopped pistachios and mix until incorporated.
