Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1 cup orange juice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan with butter and set aside.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and orange extract until blended.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
