Mustard and Horseradish Yorkshire Pudding

This classic British side dish is taken to a new level with the addition of spicy mustard and horseradish. The sharpness of the horseradish is balanced with the sweetness of the mustard, making for an unforgettable combination. Serve with your favorite gravy or as part of a traditional roast dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin with butter.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, then whisk in the melted butter, mustard, and horseradish.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the puddings are golden brown and crispy.
