This Irish Cream Banoffee Tart is the perfect indulgent treat. A delicious pastry tart base is filled with a creamy, caramelized banana mixture and topped with a decadent Irish cream cream cheese frosting. The combination of flavors is sure to delight!
Ingredients:
Crust:
• 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
• 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Banoffee Filling:
• 2 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
• 3 large ripe bananas, sliced
• 1/4 cup Irish cream liqueur
Irish Cream Cream Cheese Frosting:
• 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 2/3 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur
• 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch tart pan.
- To make the crust, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a medium bowl and mix until combined. Press the mixture into the prepared tart pan and bake for 12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown. Let cool.
- To make the banoffee filling, pour the sweetened condensed milk into a medium saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Spread the caramel over the cooled tart crust and top with the sliced bananas. Drizzle with the Irish cream liqueur.
- To make the Irish cream cream cheese frosting, beat the cream cheese, sugar, Irish cream, and vanilla extract in a medium bowl until smooth. Spread the frosting over the banoffee filling.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Enjoy!
