Rich Chocolate Cake with Creamy Sour Cream Frosting

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour two 9-inch cake pans.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa powder, and dark chocolate chips.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the sour cream until combined. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
