This Fig and Prosciutto Tart is a delicious and easy appetizer! Made with flaky puff pastry, sweet fig preserves, and salty prosciutto, this tart is sure to be a hit at any gathering. Serve with a side salad or as a main course.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup fig preserves
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. On the parchment paper, roll out the puff pastry to a 12-inch square.

  3. Spread the fig preserves evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

  4. Arrange the prosciutto slices on top of the preserves.

  5. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the prosciutto.

  6. Brush the top of the tart with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and the prosciutto is crispy.

  8. Let cool before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
