Citrusy Velvet Cake with Rich Cream Cheese Frosting

Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter and granulated sugar until combined. Add in the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Then add in the buttermilk, orange zest, lemon juice, and yogurt and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
- To make the frosting, in a medium bowl, mix together the softened butter and cream cheese until combined.
- Add in the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, and mix until combined. Add in the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Spread the frosting over the cooled cake and enjoy!
