Cherry and Dark Chocolate Banoffee Pie
This Cherry and Dark Chocolate Banoffee Pie will satisfy all of your sweet tooth cravings. A decadent combination of buttery graham cracker crust, tangy cherry filling, creamy dark chocolate, and a light sprinkling of toasted almonds make this the perfect indulgent dessert.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 cans (14oz each) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 1/2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, coarsely chopped
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
- Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine condensed milk and cherries. Cook, stirring often, for 5 minutes, or until cherries are softened.
- Pour cherry mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust. Sprinkle dark chocolate chips and toasted almonds over the top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
