This sweet and savory dish combines the classic and beloved combination of french toast and cheesecake. The french toast is made with cream cheese, butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar and is topped with a delicious maple syrup glaze. It’s a surefire way to make your morning special and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Directions:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly over 4 slices of the bread. Top with the remaining 4 slices of bread to create sandwiches.
