Baked Banana Oatmeal Loaf
This delicious Baked Banana Oatmeal Loaf is a great way to use up ripe bananas, and is perfect for a snack or breakfast on-the-go! It’s moist and flavorful, thanks to the combination of bananas, oatmeal, and cinnamon. Enjoy a slice of this delicious loaf for a healthy and satisfying treat!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, mashed bananas, honey, oil, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the walnuts, if desired.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
