This Almond-Flavored Amaretto Cheesecake with a Crunchy Crust will be a delightful addition to any meal. Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 inch springform pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Press the crumb mixture into the bottom and up the sides of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, almond extract, and amaretto liqueur until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pan and sprinkle the top with sliced almonds. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until the center is almost set.
- Let cool completely before serving.
