Almond Butter and Oat Energy Balls Recipe
These Almond Butter and Oat Energy Balls are a tasty, healthy snack that’s perfect for an energy boost during the day. Made with almond butter, rolled oats, honey, and a few other simple ingredients, these no-bake energy balls can be enjoyed as a pre or post-workout snack, or anytime you need a little pick-me-up!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
Directions:
- In a medium bowl, mix together the almond butter and honey until smooth.
- Add the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, chia seeds, and cinnamon, and mix until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped almonds, and mix until evenly distributed.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and roll into 1-inch balls.
- Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
