Red Velvet Cake with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Same as Classic Red Velvet Cake, plus:

  • 6 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Make the Classic Red Velvet Cake recipe as instructed.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until completely melted and smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  4. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and beat until well combined and fluffy.
  5. Beat in the melted white chocolate until well combined.
  6. Use to frost the cooled cake.
