These sweet croissants are filled with chocolate and baked until golden brown.
Ingredients:
- 1 package puff pastry
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- butter
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
- Cut the pastry into triangles about 6 inches wide at the base and 8 inches long.
- Place a spoonful of chopped chocolate at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up the triangles, starting from the wide end and working your way towards the point.
- Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the beaten egg on top of each croissant.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the chocolate is melted.
