Chocolate Croissants

Chocolate Croissants

These sweet croissants are filled with chocolate and baked until golden brown.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 4 oz semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  3. Cut the pastry into triangles about 6 inches wide at the base and 8 inches long.
  4. Place a spoonful of chopped chocolate at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the triangles, starting from the wide end and working your way towards the point.
  6. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the beaten egg on top of each croissant.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the chocolate is melted.
